RE: Invitation to Participate in Engineering for Sustainability 2027 hosted by the SAIMC
Greetings from the SAIMC Johannesburg Branch!
We are delighted to invite your students to participate in the Engineering for Sustainability 2027 competition, an inter-university engineering competition organized by the SAIMC, scheduled to take place on 27 June 2027.
This competition is designed to challenge the creativity, technical skills, and innovative thinking of engineering students across various disciplines related to automation, instrumentation, mechatronics and computer engineering; however other disciplines are welcome too. It oers a dynamic platform for students to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world problems, collaborate in teams, and gain exposure to the broader engineering community.

- Eligibility: Undergraduate and postgraduate engineering students

Top-performing teams will receive certificates, trophies, and exciting prizes, along with the opportunity to present their projects to a panel of industry experts and academicians.
