The engineering discipline chosen does not mean that the candidate is registered as a professional engineering technician (Mechatronics) as example.
The discipline that the candidate chooses is to ensure that when ECSA requests professionals to do the assessments, they choose people who have similar experiences in the same field as the candidate.
Although the traditional Mechatronics engineering discipline mainly represent mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines, we divided the Mechatonics Engineering discipline into the following engineering sub-categories:
- Factory Automation
- Process Automation
- Mechatronic Devices
