THE SAIMC
The SAIMC is driving the recognition of Automation, Instrumentation, Mechatronics and Control as enablers for effective and efficient application of new technologies.
The SAIMC is working with the Automation Federation to get our industry equipped and ready to make optimal use of the technologies and designs of the fourth – as well as future industrial revolutions.
The SAIMC, a Voluntary Association of the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and enforces a strict code of conduct based on that of ECSA.
The SAIMC was one of the original task team who developed the Discipline Specific Training Guidelines (DSTG) for the Mechatronics discipline and the Code of Practice for the Computer Engineering discipline.
